Our Mission
Rethinking what's on our table.
India produces over 3.3 million tonnes of plastic waste each year, and a significant portion of that comes from single-use cutlery and packaging. At RigoCare, we set out in 2019 to prove that there is a better way — one that doesn't ask people to sacrifice convenience or aesthetics for sustainability.
Our name comes from the Latin rigo, meaning "to water" or "to nourish." We see every piece of RigoCare tableware as a small act of nourishing the planet while nourishing the people we love.
Headquartered in Navi Mumbai, we work with a network of 40+ skilled woodworking artisans across Maharashtra and Rajasthan to produce cutlery and tableware that is truly worthy of the modern sustainable home.

RigoCare started as an idea sketched on a napkin during a family get-together that generated more plastic waste than food joy.

2019 — Founded in Navi MumbaiArjun, Priya and Siddharth pool their savings and create the first 200 handmade bamboo spoon sets, sold to restaurants in Belapur and Kharghar.

2020 — Online Launch & Rapid GrowthDespite the pandemic, demand surged as households sought plastic-free alternatives. RigoCare hits ₹25 lakh in revenue in its first online year.

2022 — Retail Partnerships & AwardsExpanded to 18 premium supermarkets in Maharashtra and Goa. Recognized at the CII Sustainability Awards and the Indian Green Business Summit.

2024–Present — 34 Cities & GrowingServing over 18,400 customers across India with a team of 28 and a network of 40+ artisans. A new bowls and plates line is in R&D for 2025.
